Burke Ferris Clark, 62, died peacefully in his sleep, August 1, 2008 following an extended illness. He was laid to rest at Pinelawn Memorial Gardens in Greenville on August 6, 2008. Mr. Clark was born in Richmond, VA to the late Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Clark of Richmond, VA. He attended East Carolina University where he was a member of Theta Chi Fraternity and earned his BA in Business Administration in 1968. He served in the U.S. Army with honor and with distinction during the Vietnam Era.

Mr. Clark was employed for many years by National Cash Register as a major account sales consultant where he was recognized for his superior salesmanship and accomplishments. He spent his latter years in Greenville, NC. He was married to the late Dara Lynn "Dee" Franklin Clark who preceded him in death in 1994. He is survived by his daughter, Jamie Lynn Clark of San Francisco, CA; son, John Wetzel Clark of Durham.

Mr. Clark was a loving, caring husband, father, "brother" and friend. He had a ready smile, a glad hand and tales to tell. His legacy will live among us forever. Eternal Father Strong to Save...
